Safety Town Wraps up with Visit from HVA

As part of their preparation for kindergarten, 33 Manchester children participated in the annual Safety Town camp last week.聽Over the course of the 5 days聽they had many visitors including a police officer, fire fighter, Louie the lightning bug, Klager principal Mrs. Mayes, a school bus driver and on the last day, an EMT.

St. Mary Rummage Sale Starts Thursday

St Mary’s Church’s annual rummage sale starts on Thursday. As in previous years, it will be located at the Parish Center, 110 East Madison St., one block behind the Marathon station. It will operate Thursday Aug. 14th from 8am-6pm, Friday Aug. 15th from 8am – 5pm, and Saturday Aug. 16th, 8am – 6pm.
