Klager Students Serenade Seniors at Annual Luncheon

 

 

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ 90 senior citizens attended the 38th annual Senior Luncheon at Klager Elementary last Wednesday.  They were treated to each grade singing a Christmas song, and a school tour led by the 3rd and 4th graders, followed by lunch with their tour guides.  The Klager PTO facilitated the event and were helped in serving the 400 meals by the High School National Honors Society.  Mrs. Mayes, Klager’s principal, said “the children were just amazing today”  and was impressed by what gracious hosts the students were to their guests. The Senior Luncheon  is a way for the school district  to  say thank you to the seniors for supporting the schools even though they may not have children or grandchildren in the school district
