Manchester resident helps to organize benefit concert

St. Joseph Catholic Parish “Country” Church in Webster Twp. north of Dexter was the site of a remarkable concert on Saturday May 14th, as Michael Russell O’Brien arrived from Clearwater, Fla. to entertain a crowd of 300 people. The concert was initiated by and organized with the help of a Manchester resident, Deb. Read more about Deb and her inspiration to organize the concert .

The concert was sponsored by St. Joseph Parish, the Dexter Knights of Columbus, and the Dexter Ladies Auxiliary as a fundraiser for St. Louis Center in Chelsea, MI. St. Louis Center is a faith-based non-profit residential home for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities run by the Servants of Charity Congregation.
