Manchester Heritage Day THIS Thursday

This Thursday, the Manchester Area Historical Society will host聽鈥淢anchester Heritage Day鈥 as part of this summer’s 鈥淢ake it Manchester Thursdays.” Manchester Heritage Day will take place聽on Thursday, July 7 from 3 to 7 pm, at both the Manchester Area Historical Society’s Kingsley-Jenter House located at 302 E. Main and right up the street聽at the John Schneider Blacksmith Shop located 324 E. Main. There will be聽open houses at both locations, along with demonstrations, displays, information, and neat things to see. Refreshments will also be served!

Events at the聽Kingsley-Jenter House begin at 3 pm, and the blacksmithing demonstrations begin at聽4 pm. Want to know the history of your Manchester house? Want to see rug hooking? Wonder how rope is made? Curious about the upcoming sesquicentennial? Visit聽the Kingsley-Jenter House. And afterwards stop by the Blacksmith Shop where you鈥檒l be treated to flames, banging, humor and interesting facts!
Don’t forget to visit the聽Farmers Market and make your way down Main聽Street to the gazebo for Shari Kane and Dave Steele in concert playing blues guitar!
