Helicopter photographer Dale Fisher looking for Manchester sponsors for new book

Helicopter photographer, Dale Fisher and marketing director, Joanne Ackerman were special presenters this month’s Manchester Chamber of Commerce meeting. They are looking for sponsors for their upcoming new photography book, 鈥淲ashtenaw County: Visions of the Eagle,鈥 which will include聽beautiful aerial photographs of Ann Arbor,聽Ypsilanti, Saline, Dexter, Chelsea, Milan and Manchester.
鈥淗elicopter photography gives a distinctive perspective unmatched by photographs taken from airplanes or on the ground,鈥澛爏ays Fisher. “Flying at the low altitudes made possible by helicopters gives these photographs a unique perspective. Although most of the photographs in the book are taken from the air, this comprehensive book will also include many photographs of events, people and sites taken on the ground.”
Fisher and Ackerman stated that the book, which will be a聽full color, coffee table-style book, will be “an excellent opportunity for the businesses, organizations, and communities to promote their strengths and the versatility of Washtenaw County to prospective businesses, potential clients, consumers, and friends. It is a lovely work that will be appreciated for years to come.”
In order for Manchester to be included, the Village of Manchester and 5 additional sponsors need to contribute $6,500 each, at which point Manchester will receive a minimum of 20 pages of coverage, not including the sponsor’s pages in the back.聽Purchasing a sponsorship package allows the sponsor to 2 pages in the book, including a by-lined article by a corporate executive or an overview of the company products and services, in addition to a helicopter/ ground photo shoot, a framed 17″x26″ canvas print of their business and 50 copies of the completed book.
Ackerman explained that it should not be thought of as advertising; it is instead “instant credibility” as your business is included as sponsors with large institutions located all over the county. “This unique public relations and branding tool will allow organizations to highlight their contributions while helping to demonstrate the power and potential of Washtenaw County,” she stated. Because Ann Arbor is included in the book, they expect it to be sent all over the world. Ackerman suggested that it could be used as a marketing tool to bring in manufacturers to Manchester.
Ackerman went on to state, 鈥淒ale and I have been working on this book for two years, and we plan to send to the printers September 1, 2017 with distribution scheduled for December, 2017. We are currently making photographs from the air and the ground, and we request that people contact us with locations, events and historical information that may be interesting to include.鈥
