SASHA Farm to hold Benefit Cruise on聽September 15

By participating in this cruise, you will be helping 鈥淟ittle Lamb鈥 along with all SASHA Farm animal residents. Thank you for helping save so many lives!

SASHA Farm Animal Sanctuary will host its first ever Benefit Cruise on聽Saturday, September 15, from 5:45-9 pm聽on the Diamond Belle Riverboat. Join them聽for an unforgettable evening and help the SASHA Farm animal residents at the same time!

This very special event offers you the opportunity to cruise the Detroit River while watching the sun set against the backdrop of the Detroit-Windsor skyline. Listen to the mellow sounds of Sean Blackman and his band while The Moveable Feast serves vegan hors d鈥檕euvres and dessert. A cash bar will also be available

Although Bhima the Gyr Ox, the Jersey Five, Daisy Belle, and new animal residents Suzy the lamb, Debbie the mule and Mollie the donkey won鈥檛 be able to attend, they are excited to know that you are helping to raise donations just for them and their other animal pals who live at SASHA Farm!

Board the Diamond Belle at聽201 Joseph Campau, Detroit Michigan聽48247, starting at聽5:45聽and the聽boat sails promptly at聽6聽pm (don鈥檛 be late!!)聽Tickets, which include hors d鈥檕euvres and dessert, are available on聽the SASHA Farm聽 for $100.聽Sponsorships are also available.

SASHA (Sanctuary and Safe Haven for Animals) Farm, located here in Manchester, is the Midwest largest farmed animal sanctuary with more than 270 animal residents including cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, equines, and other animals. Founded by Manchester residents聽Dorothy Davies聽and聽Monte Jackson, SASHA Farm started rescuing animals in the 1980s and became a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2001. SASHA provides lifetime care to farmed animals formerly destined for slaughter or who were abused, neglected, abandoned, or no longer able to be cared for.
