February 2019 Student of the Month, Avery Collins
Avery Collins, pictured here with MHS principal Eric McCalla, is Manchester Community Schools Foundation’s February 2019 Student of the Month
TheÌýÌýFebruary 2019 Manchester Community Schools Foundation Student of the Month for Manchester High School is Avery Collins.ÌýAvery is the daughter of John and Erin Collins.ÌýShe is a member of the Manchester High School National Honor Society, Spanish Club, and has been the Class of 2019 treasurer for the last three years.ÌýAvery has been active in the community with NHS, assisting with the Klager Senior Luncheon and as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.ÌýShe was also involved with Manchester Main Street Sesquicentennial celebration. Ìý
Avery has been a member of the Manchester High School basketball team for four years and has been a team captain for the last two years.ÌýPlaying volleyball for her four years of high school she was also the volleyball team captain this past school year.ÌýAvery also has played on the high school soccer team and been a member of the track team for two years.Ìý Ìý
Avery plans to study pre-med at Western Michigan University in the Fall.
