SRSLY Manchester welcomes new program coordinator

The SRSLY Coalition is pleased to introduce Abbey Clark, the new program coordinator for SRSLY Manchester and Stockbridge. In this dual role, Clark will support volunteers in implementing programs and strategies for both coalitions.

“Abbey has a passion for helping youth feel supported and valued, which aligns perfectly with SRSLY mission,” said Alex Duranczyk, SRSLY Manchester coalition director. “She also has real-world experience with implementing events that enhance the health of the community.”

Clark has previous experience working in health care and opioid abuse prevention initiatives. She planned and implemented the first three drug take-back events held in Clinton, and has also assisted with many other drug take-back initiatives across Michigan.

“Abbey experience and dedication to community health make her an asset to SRSLY Stockbridge,” said Emily Stewart, SRSLY Stockbridge coalition director. “We’re confident that her skills will further strengthen our coalition.”

Clark earned a Bachelor degree in psychology from Eastern Michigan University and is working toward her Master degree in school counseling.

“I am excited to work with the youth in these communities,” Clark said.��“Growing up in Clinton, Michigan, I learned to appreciate the small-town values that make a community feel like home. Manchester and Stockbridge both have a tight-knit community feel.��They also have their own unique features that make them truly special.”

Clark lives in Clinton with her husband, four-year-old son, three-year-old daughter and their cat. She loves running, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and coffee.
