MDL adds new summer fun kits to Library of Things collection

There are a “LOT” of new resources for summer fun at the Manchester District Library

As nice spring weather brings more folks outside, the Manchester District Library (MDL) is making sure that summer fun kits are ready for checkout. New outdoor recreation items include:

• Pickleball Set (4 paddles and 4 balls with carry case)

• COMING SOON! Disc Golf Starter Set (driver, mid-range, and putter discs with shoulder bag)

These existing items have been updated for the new season as well:

• Fishing Kit (rod and reel with stocked tackle box)

• Metal Detector

• Night Sky Kit (Celestron portable telescope, finder, star wheel, and beginner astronomy books)

• Binoculars

The is always available for local checkout with your library card. In addition to many outdoor recreation items, the collection also offers small kitchen appliances, electronics, household tools and gadgets, e-readers, wi-fi hotspots, and more. Visit and search the catalog for “MDL LOT” to see the full selection, or ask at the front desk for more information.

Manchester District Library (MDL) is proud to serve the Village of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources. Current MDL hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm; Friday, 10am–6pm, and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the .
